CAMPBELLSPORT, Wis. (CBS 58) – Amber Ullius is a pioneer for mobility minded people working to overcome disability. The 27-year old Campbellsport woman is the first person in Wisconsin to sport an ultra-rugged new wheelchair designed to help her return to her beloved outdoor activities on her family’s farm.
Called a TerrainHopper, the device more like an ATV than a typical wheel chair. It has off-road capabilities and can navigate in nearly any weather condition. For Uillius, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth, the chair represents a passage to freedom.
